About Me
I live in the climate town of Grants Pass in Oregon. 5 out of 7 days of my week are spent at school, while the other two are spend at work, doing homework, and spending time with my family. My job as an Adult foster care activities director has helped me to be patient, and to value every moment. At my job, I plan and create fun activities such as crafts and games for the patients that live there, to do.
I plan to go to SOU after I graduate in two years and get my general medical degree. My overall career goal is to be an anesthesiologist, but work through college as a nurse or possibly pursue my current career as a activities director. Right now, I plan to major in Biology with a minor in pre-medical. As an anesthesiologist, I need to earn a bachelors degree with any major and eventually a doctorate degree. I foresee a long road ahead of me as far as education goes, but I also foresee a very happy one.
As I said, my work is very important to me, but family means more to me than any job. My loyalty to my family can also be reflected by my loyalty in the workplace to by boss and co-workers. Growing up, I have had to learn lessons through hardships, and that has helped me to mature intellectually faster than the majority of my peers. I believe that life is not an endless struggle with little reward, but that everything happens for a reason, and my experiences have helped me to learn lessons that I would not have learned otherwise.
Through my high school career, I have learned that I have a diversity of interests. I've been playing soccer for eight years, basketball and volleyball for two years, and have recently been dabbling in ice hockey. I love to sing and recently preformed the national anthem at multiple events, as well as going to all- state honor choir. I have been playing the violin for six years and have recently been learning the mandolin as well. I have also taken a liking to our school's theater department, preforming in its past 3 productions. My artistic side enjoys scrap booking, and i Have a side photography business.
